A special catamaran sailing in New Zealand
You could be forgiven for thinking you were seeing double if you should see two high aspect mainsails on two aero foil masts atop two gleaming sea green hulls,sail past as you holiday in New Zealand's beautiful Bay of Islands. This apparition turns, and the wing masts rotate with the sails and you see that what is heading towards you is a large catamaran,with a mast in each hull and NO rigging to hold them up! Wow!

What you will have observed is "Cool Change",the creation of Don and Marilyn Logan. With the help of designer Derek Kelsall for the boat , and some innovative Kiwi engineers for the mast concept ,they have come up with a pretty unique sort of home afloat.

The results speak for themselves.The sailing is effortless and rewarding,encouraging long range cruising.The view from the spacious saloon is awesome with the allround visability unempeded by any central mast.

Now,you are able to share this experience aboard this 54 foot performance catamaran.She has been finished to a high standard with chartering in mind and has two private queensized cabins ,each with it's own ensuite,for guests.
Don and Marilyn are experienced,professional skippers and will be able to take you to some very special places,rarely seen by visitors to New Zealand.
Enjoy swimming,fishing,kayaking,bushwalks,island hikes,beachcombing,snorkling and shellfish gathering while exploring isolated anchorages.
Don is a keen diver so fresh crayfish,scallops and mussels are often on the menu,along with freshly caught fish and superb NZ lamb,venison or grassfed beef.All meals are served with locally grown fresh salads ,vegies and fruits.
If you prefer,there are easily accessed golf courses,wine trails and restaurants as well as various tours and cultural experiences.Let us know what you require.
