12th December 2008 Utterly brilliant! We drove our 2002 Monaro from Wellington to Auckland as Wayne and his team were the only one's who could do all that I wanted done to the car.
They fitted their "Holden GenIII upgrade Package" (listed on their site) Pacemaker headers, Mellow big bore exhaust and gave it a mafless tune, WOF and a service. They did heaps of little tricks as well, but I won't bore you with all the details.
The difference between the drive to Auckland and the drive home was astounding!! The car went from nice to awesome in a few short days. When we dropped it off it dynoed 188kw, but when we picked it up it was 250kw!! At the rear!
2nd August 2012 Not impressed at all with Protune. I took my car in there to get some gauges fitted. They dont offer courtesy cars so had to catch a taxi at considerable cost. They were unable to fit them inside one day so asked me bring the car back to finish the job. As I was looking at another taxi fare I also asked them to fit an underdriven pulley at the same time and had a full conversation with them about this before leaving my car with them again. When I returned to collect the car they had only finished the gauges and looked at me blankly when I queried about the pulley. They forgot to fit it! I requested by email on two occasions that they complete the work and provide a courtesy car or cover the taxi fare and they didnt even bother to respond. I've today taken my car for a warrant and it has failed due to a leaking oil pressure hose fitted to the gauges which I've had to pay to have repaired. So, very poor service, substandard work, and no courtesy vehicles. Go somewhere else!
