Kereru Farmstay

Situated in Pukekawa, halfway between Auckland and Hamilton, only minutes from SH1 at Mercer and 20 minutes from Pukekohe, is Kereru Farmstay, a beautiful haven for animal lovers, families and business people alike. Enter the driveway along paddocks where we graze donkeys, mules and Dorper sheep, and you will find your very own, brand new 2 bedroom Lockwood home.

Kereru Farmstay is the ideal first stop when coming from or going to Auckland International Airport. We thrive on introducing our guests to a beautiful slice of New Zealand and are happy to show you around our little hobby farm, where we breed Dorper sheep and train donkeys and mules.
We are ideally suited to long term stays, new immigrants or accommodation during the Rugby World Cup 2011. All Auckland and Hamilton matches are less then 1 hour away.
We can speak English, French and Dutch.

Facilities

Your tastefully decorated Lockwood home has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and vanity, a full kitchen, lounge and dining area. Large french sliding doors open out onto a large wrap around deck complete with outdoor furniture to catch all day sun.Unwind in our relaxing spa pool, looking out over the paddocks. There is also a TV and DVD for you to use, and free wireless broadband internet connection. Children can enjoy playing in the sandpit, climbing tower and swings or can help feed out the animals. Donkey rides can be arranged.
Location

Coming from SH 1, take Mercer turn off and across the bridge towards Pukekawa. Take the first road on the left (Morrison Road) and then first on the right (Clarke and Denize Road) We are the second property on the right, number 499.
