6th October 2009 Unfortunately we needed major repairs on our Subaru's motor. We shopped around for pricing and these guys were the second cheapest out of 6 prices.
The big difference is that they made us feel confident when talking to them. They asked when our last Cam belt replacement was and explained that we would save hundreds if we replaced it during these repairs.
The repairs were done quicker than expected and the car was clean when when we got it back.
The communication was excellent and they even followed us with a free check a month later.
21st November 2014 REALLY DISAPPOINTED SERVICE AT ALL. I went to get a warrant of fitness done. they inspected my audi a4 and generate the huge bill.
but wen I went home I found my car not changing gears it was running only one gear. I went to them . they said its not their mistake. ?? but my car had not have this problem at all . they should stop doing business. BAD EXPERIENCE

9th September 2012 Not a good experience with Armstrong Motors in Lower Hutt. The sales man we dealt with was not at all pleasant to deal with. We found him to be arrogant and argumentative which in any business is not a sign of good customer service. We made it clear that the trade in price was not where we wanted it to be but still wanted to test drive a vehicle, we may have decided if we liked the vehicle enough that we would accept the trade in price. This salesman decided not to let us test drive the car as he didn't want to waste his time. To be honest my experience of customer service in supermarkets has been better than in this dealership.
We went back a second time and asked to deal with someone else but he wouldn't let us, very surreal experience and even after talking very reasonably with him about why we didnt want to deal with him he continued to argue. My advice to him is you don't know who your customers might be and what future business there could have been. Without customers your business would go under so some simple good customer service wouldn't go astray. We won't be back and will be advising our businesses and colleagues to avoid.
