A good honest mechanic, at a service 3 to 4 months ago he mentioned the back drums have about 10000km's left on them, so booked the car in for replacing drum pads near the 10,000km mark. On inspection of the brakes Scott was surprised at how little worn they were since last service, and did not replace them and said there is at least another 10000 kms left on them, there was no charge. Which was a most welcome surprise for me. They even cleaned the car and the mag wheels as well. Very happy to delay the brake pad replacement cost for another 3 to 4 months.
