I want to say thank you to Pulse and especially my Personal trainer Nick. I trained with Nick 2 x a week and found him to be very encouraging, positive and great with giving me tips on how to go about my exercise at home and work towards my personal goals. I lost 10 kgs in the first 3 mths which is great. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to get fit and wanting a great company to work towards your training goals these guys are great !

I used Pulse and particularly Nick's encouragement and expertise to build my strength, endurance and base fitness for my first ever half ironman. I completed that goal two weeks ago and I am filled with gratitude to Nick who was always professional, positive and upbeat at our Monday 6am sessions. He helped me develop plans and strategies for when the "going got tough". I went from someone struggling through 10 burpees - to someone who finds them no problem. My next half ironman is in 4 weeks and I will take the skills I have learn't from Pulse into this next challenge and those beyond.

I did my first full push up in my life ever this morning - thanks :) I'm definitely starting to feel an improvement and have been very surprised how much fun it has been! The hardest bit is getting out of bed but after that these sessions give you more energy than they take (and that is from someone in the lower average end of fitness :))

In my time training with Pulse Personal Training I have found them to be encouraging and responsive, both in person and via email. I really appreciate their receptiveness and interest in me and my lifestyle, giving me the ability to apply changes in my programme and structure to meet my needs, from looking for training classes to keep me interested and altering exercises for injuries or weaknesses that needed addressing.

Like a lot of people who travel with their job, getting time and staying motivated to achieve a goal can be very challenging. I joined Pulse Personal Training as I wanted to do things differently to what I had done in the past. The Pulse Studio is the gym you would have at home if you had the room and combined with a trainer you couldn't ask for a better environment in which to achieve your goals. I can definitely recommend both my personal trainer and Pulse Personal Training as the place to do it.

I found after giving birth 8 years back it has been difficult to, focus back on myself back and get back to the shape I was in before my pregnancy. I have worked with Pulse Personal Training now for 3 months, and am loving the results to date. I feel fitter, more confident and energetic. My Body Audit also showed a significant change in my body shape, and I am once again prioritising my day so that I can make time for myself. Thanks to my trainers enthusiasm and dedication, I feel so much more motivated and on track with my personal fitness!

I finished the Bootcamp 2 weeks ago and have to say I loved it and am missing it. I was very apprehensive to start -wondering if I could keep up with the group. Hamish and Jade were extremely supportive, in that they accommodate all levels of fitness but got the best out of everyone. I highly recommend the bootcamp and will re - enrol in the New Year. I finally got the gumption up to actually do one of these bootcamps and can honestly say I have really loved it!! Hamish is a great guy and doesn't yell at you at all but still manages to push you to get a fantastic workout! Definitely worth it & fun to boot! And surprisingly the weather at that time in the morning has been consistently amazing and not as cold & miserable as I imagined it might be - so a very pleasant way to get the day started and working out with some cool people. Dare you to try it!

I have found the whole Pulse Personal Training experience fantastic. I've been sore for 3 months straight and I am very happy about it! I feel stronger, fitter and healthier. I really like how my sessions are tailored to my abilities (and range of motion!) and that I can see progress with increased weights, reps, and sets each week. My trainer was wonderful, so I thank you for having her onboard. I have recommended - and will continue to recommend - Pulse PT.

Undertaking Pulse PT Bootcamp has been the key to kick-starting my fitness and enhancing my sense of wellbeing. Getting fit was something I wanted to do but always managed to find an excuse to postpone in favour of a pie. After four weeks of early rises and gut-busting runs around Oriental Parade I was a new man - not to mention a lighter and fitter one. I lost about 5kgs and went from blowing out after a 200m jog/shuffle to being able to clock-up 6kms in just over 30 mins. I'm now aiming to run a half-marathon later in the year. In those four weeks of Bootcamp I felt my fitness improve and my body change. I enjoyed the subtle goal-setting Hamish installed in all of us, which made me push myself to better my times (I will never look at the Oriental Terrace steps in the same way again). Bring on the next Bootcamp.

Pulse Personal Training's Life Unlimited Weight Loss Programme along with my personal trainer Jade have changed my outlook on exercise and food. I lost a total of 19.5kgs in the 12 week Life Unlimited Weight Loss programme, which has ultimately changed my lifestyle. The programme in my opinion has set me up for life. I could go on about Jade's strengths as a personal trainer but what stood out to me was her ability to keep me motivated during every exercise (especially the last 3 reps of a set), her constant attention to my technique and most importantly her sincere interest in how I was feeling, what was working for me and the fact that she was just as proud as I was at my final weigh in. I would not hesitate in recommending Pulse Personal Training and Jade to anyone serious about wanting not only to lose weight but to change their lifestyle for the better. jw

I came to Pulse with serious ongoing back and neck pain (lifestyle, lack of muscles, old injury) and was seeing a massage therapist on a regular and emergency basis to get me through. I've trained with Hamish since October to improve my strength and posture, and while I've fallen off the wagon occasionally the training has made a significant difference. I realized today that I haven't been back to see the massage therapist once since I started with Pulse. This is partly because of lifestyle changes I made, but it is also real testimony to how much I have benefitted from training. Thoroughly recommended!

As an overweight person, I always hated doing exercise. Due to health reasons I needed to lose weight and get fit but I did not like the idea of joining a traditional gym. In Pulse they understood me and were able to change my mindset about exercising. Now I not only exercise regularly but I also enjoy it! The first step is always the hardest one but they encouraged me not only to start but to change my lifestyle definitevely. I’m sure that I would never had achieved my current wellbeing without their support. I’m very grateful to Hamish and his team, and totally recommend them.

I enjoy having a programme tailored specifically for me - taking into account my strengths and weaknesses. I've been training at Pulse since they opened, primarily to improve my overall fitness and recover from a back injury. During this time they have helped me improve my core strength to the point that I no longer have any back issues. In fact I feel fitter now than I have ever have before. The staff at Pulse have a natural talent for pushing you as hard as possible in the nicest possible way, and the studio itself is a very tidy and personal environment for training.

Before starting my programme at Pulse I had been working away on my own fitness routine with limited results. In just four months of training at Pulse I have already lost a significant amount of weight and increased my muscle tone. They quickly understood my objectives and worked with me to design a programme that is both challenging and enjoyable. They offer plenty of variety which keeps me stimulated, and makes sure it’s not too complicated that I feel overwhelmed. As a result of the training I have increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of movement, and overall confidence in my body. I am half-way to achieving my weight loss goals and feel certain that the exercises and tips provided will enable me to maintain a stronger, healthier body throughout my life. It’s amazing how a few adjustments can make such a difference.

Hamish - skilled, great sense of humour and runs a great boot camp. Personalised programme has helped me improve my fitness steadily, plus I have the enthusiasm to build daily fitness into my lifestyle.

I found Hamish extremely good and targeted my programme exactly to my needs and the types of exercise I enjoy. Not relying on machines is great for me as I can do many of the exercises while travelling or at home with a swiss ball. He also gave me invaluable advice to improve my running and his ortho-bionomy techniques to realign my body had remarkable results. Worth it just for that. Over the time I have seen Hamish I have certainly seen an improvement and am sorry to have to leave it behind when I return to the UK at Christmas.

One of my original training goals was to increase my cycling speed, both on the road bike and the mountain bike. With the programmes and guidance provided by Pulse Personal Training I have certainly achieved this. My most noticeable improvement is now when I get off the saddle on the hills the bike doesn't just maintain speed, it accelerates! The performance improvement has been remarkable. My programmes have been awesome in that I can use them almost anywhere. I travel a lot with work and hotel gyms are often short on equipment. Because my programmes don’t require machines, I can still get a good work out while I’m away.

I can't say more positive things about PulsePT. Not only is the gym private, but the quality of training is bar none. You not only get a work out which targets your individual needs, you also get a great atmosphere with minimal distraction. Hamish's training techniques and patience enables me to have workouts which focus on my weaknesses and come away feeling like I have achieved something in my session. I can play any music I want without the ongoing distraction of other trainers and people waiting for equipment. I guarantee once you go to PulsePT, you won't ever want to go to another gym.

PulsePt is the gym for people who want results. In 45mins with Hamish we do more than I could acheive at other gyms in an 2 hours. I don't have to queue for equipment, it's clean and most importantly it's private.

I finally found out about Callum via the UBD website after having a sore back for over 3years. I had been to all the usual suspects, like physios etc. Callum did a thorough assessment and had me out of pain in 3weeks. AMAZING. Couldn't recommend Callum highly enough
