Stan Davies (1924 - 2006) is viewed by many as one of the most influential (yet until recently lesser publicised) photographers of the 20th Century. The high contrast style and stark imagery he pioneered was quite literally ahead of its time when introduced in the 1950s, and lead many artists to follow his lead into this unexplored territory. Only since his death in 2006 has a very limited selection of his work become commercially available.

Adam's compositions focus on scenes of aesthetic beauty, both derived and otherwise. His complex works examine the juxtapositions created by modern society's awkward union with its natural environment.
