All services are carried out by industry qualified team members working to industry best practice with a passion to ~protect New Zealand's unique biodiversity and environment.

PEST ANIMAL TEAM
Our Team have many years of industry experience using various methods of pest animal control " Live capture (cage traps), ground trapping (leg hold traps, Fenn Traps, Timms Traps, Sentinel Traps), poisoning (Cyanide, Brodifacoum, Cholecalciferol) and night shooting.

PEST PLANT TEAM
Control of pest plants
Roadside vegetation management by chemical control in rural and urban environments.
General weed control
Broadleaf weed control.
Liquid fertiliser application.
Insecticide and fungicide application.
Control of moss, lichen and algae.
Aquatic weed control in streams, lakes and rivers.
Organic weed control methods where requested.
Re-vegetation site development, planting and associated maintenance programmes.

BIOSECURITY TEAM
Control / eradication of invasive species on behalf of local and central government.
Consultation on quarantine system management.
Specialist advice on importing high value goods which could pose a biosecurity risk to New Zealand (saw mills, heavy machinery).
Peer review of weed and pest management plans for resource consent applications.
Developing methodologies and operational plans for specific pest management problems.
Mainland Island programmes using either protective chemical fences or man-made pest proof fences.
Manage a response capability for biosecurity emergency response and incursions.
Carry out biosecurity surveillance services.
