2nd September 2009 Hi I went to a private function recently at the cafe and the setting was great. The food was extremely tasty with a lot of variety available. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I will definately be returning for a coffee soon.

16th December 2007 We went to Union Cafe one morning for brunch. We were directed to take a seat so we chose a table beside the glass wall and watched the traffic of fanshawe street. We then waited 20 minutes to be attended to. When someone finally arrived at our table, we were greeted by a rather unfriendly foreign girl, who seemed a little slow. we ordered coffee which took 15 minutes to arrive, despite the lack of customers, and tasted rather burnt, and cold. We ordered poached eggs on toast, which the whites were undercooked and made the toast soggy. We were very dissappointed with the whole experience, and wished we had stayed at home and had instant. Would not recommend.
