Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre has something special to offer: the beauty and safety of our seaside location and the variety of activities in our everyday programme, make us a great choice for students who are looking for a contrast from their usual city life, and who
have an active approach to learning.

There is an atmosphere of both intimacy and professionalism at our school, which allows students to relax and to learn. Whether they choose our Activity course, our General course, our Examination Preparation course, or our English plus Surfing course, students receive close personal attention from a friendly staff, and country style warmth from their host families.

By limiting the student numbers to around 50 the school is able to keep the family atmosphere which can be lost in larger institutions. Coromandel Outdoor Language Centre has been operating since 1988 and is a member of the ENGLISH NEW ZEALAND, IALC (International Association of Language Centres), APPEL (Association of Private Providers of English Language), and is registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), the Government body responsible for quality control.
