At Abalone Thai Restaurant we offer a very fine authentic Thai dining experience. Our Thai waitresses are all dressed in authentic Thai restaurant uniforms.
Our menu is beyond the biggest in Christchurch and we have some real Kiwi flavour meats such as Paua, Wild Pork, Wild venison, Ostrich, Scallops and Crayfish. We aslo have a yummy entree of Crocodile and some other exciting dishes to come.
We have all the usual meats as well... Owner Glen Clark says: oeWithout a doubt we(TM)ve got some of the best quality meats in today(TM)s market. I use strip loin wild pork, tenerloin wild venison, tender loin lambe, etc. It(TM)s all the best quality meat you can get, and the best cuts of it. The chefts are also fantastic!
Something you don(TM)t see in many restaurants is our 3 metre long saltwater aquarium its quite a master piece.

Great Thai food and an excellent atmosphere, along with quick friendly service. The fish tank at this restaurant is a reason in itself to go along for a look. All the tropical fish from the finding Nemo movie and the nicest tank I have seen in my life!! A great place to dine in. They also offer take aways.
