I have not yet been into a Godfreys store and had a pleasant experience. I recently tried to purchase a vacuum cleaner from the Pukekohe Store. I was almost pounced on when I entered the shop and was not allowed to browse without gettin a heavy handed sales pitch. I saw the vacuum I was after with a sign stating $375.00. I proceeded to Harvey Norman and viewed their range. the same vacuum was $200 more expensive. I returned to Godfreys to purchase it and asked for one in a box. I was then told it was actually an ex demo model and wasn't complete. Missing extension pipe. Needless to say I purchased from Harvey Norman.

bought the rapid vac carpet shampooer. what a mess it soaked the carpet and does not suck it back up. Left with wet wet carpet thank goodness it was sunny and hot so dried out quick. Took it back to the shop in chch and the poor customer service from the franchise owner who was so rude and more worried about getting the refund back from Godfreys head office. So in my opinion as a first time shopper at Godfreys. Dont buy this product as its rubbish , and there customer service is just arrogant and rude right down to the customer serve woman on the phone. I gave it 1 star but wanted to give half.
