I went for a brazillian here for the first time ever, if anyone has ever had this done you will know how nerve racking it is to go on your first time. The ladies here at Hair port manukau made me feel incredibly uncomfortable which is the last thing you want while getting your private areas waxed for the first time or ever. First I pointed out it was my first time and that I was a bit nervous, they did not try to comfort me and had the audacity to appear openly impatient, this was after three workers their decided to discuss amongst themselves (in their own language which I know was Hindi) who would have to wax me (I'm assuming), one of the girls even found it appropriate to giggle about the situation. The only reason I stayed to endure this pathetic service was because it took me a very long time to build up enough courage to even go there, I can assure you though that I will never come back here for anything, all they did was make me feel even more nervous and a little insecure about myself. Oh and don't get me started on the pathetic job she did on my brazillian and the lack of information she gave me on how to treat it afterwards, she gave me absolutely none so imagine my surprise when I woke up with numerous cysts on myself, I'm lucky they did not last too long or scar, I'm very disappointed with the service I received here, I will recommend to never come here or hire better staff.

I got my eyebrows done yesterday at hairport manukau im still not happy about it ,I specifically said TWICE leave the same thickness don't make them thin and what does she do? make them sooo thin ive never ever had them this thin before,it took me sooo long to grow them back cause of you guys previously maken them thin but yesterday was ultra thin that I got very upset,I got my money back in the end, your ladies need to know what LEAVE THE SAME THICKNESS means !!!! and she reckons that was a clean uup ? uughh is she blind or what theres pretty much nothing there now uuuggh i wont be happy till this lady that done my eyebrows is fiiiirrrreeeed !!! ..... I was a client of 2yeaars after yesterday im never going back there again !!

Could not find the page for KESS Hair and Beauty but I would not go again to KESS Manukau. Just went and got my eyebrows done after growing them some time. They were thick and I asked her if she could leave them as thick as possible i.e. just groom them up. And did she do that, no, she left them probably a couple millimetres thick at the most. Might as well have threaded every single hair off. Never going there again!

Warning, don't go there, no matter what. I went in for a trim & came out looking like I'd let my 5 year old at my hair. Honestly it was worse than just a bad haircut, it was a shocking haircut. I had many many other friends & hairdressers appauled with what they did & the other hairdressers doubted the person who did the cut was qualified. I went back in only 2 days after the cut to get my money back & the stylist even played ignorant & asked who did it. While they did give my my money back I was told I should have also asked for compensation. It cost me a further $120 to have it fixed as best as they could & will take a good year to get it back to how it was. I don't know how they still run the place like this, they need to be investigated.

BEWARE!!!! I am a fully qualified hairdresser, and just had a client in to get her hair FIXED, she went to HairPort Manukau. I can honestly say, I have NEVER seen a hair cut as bad as the one that came into my salon today..... Even in my training days :D Clearly the person who did the cut, has no qualifications. So very sad to see workmanship at this level, HairPort, you should be ashamed of your self!!!!!

Went to Hairport last week thursday to colour my hair. I asked for brown full colour and very subtle highlights and i walked out with blonde and red highlights and the red had washed over the blonde which made it pink. I was charged $230 and had to come back the next day and have it died all black again. I talked to the manager there about a refund and he said he will have to talk to his boss and call me back, he hasnt till today (3 days) and when i called in somebody told me that he is the boss! im going in personally to get my money back. DONT EVER GO THERE!!!!!!

I unfortunately chose to have my hair cut at Hairport, Manukau, on Saturday. I have NEVER in my life seen such a bad haircut. It all looked good when I left the salon, but on washing my hair, discovered that it looks chopped off and the right side is about an inch longer than the left. Also, why bother to display prices when you land up paying $20 more than what is advertised. I had a bit of length cut off my hair. No major styling. The only constructive suggestion I have is that this business should rather close down. Look at all the bad reviews!!!!! How dare they claim to have qualified hairdressers and they cannot do a simple cut. I would appreciate a refund of my $45 so that I can go somewhere else to have this mess sorted out.

HAIRPORT MANUKAU SUCKS. I advise you never to go there. They have the most rude employees, their displayed prices are pointless because you never are charged that price. The manager is a tool. He does not care if you have a complaint he will badger you about what his employees think you as a customer did wrong and therefore it was never their fault. I am appalled and frankly, disgusted at this and really beauty salons need to be govt regulated with signs like they have for food places. I give this place an F.

This place looks clean and professional from the outside and the staff were prompt and polite. However... I have just had the worst haircut of my life. My hair was literally buzz cut by an indian lady who I suspect was actually the cleaner. I would not recommend this hairdressers AT ALL. I am not having to travel across the city and pay allot of money to have this appalling job remedied by Room 104, whom I would now highly recommend. I wish I had seen this reviews prior to my mistake.

BEWARE OF THE 'HAIRPORT' MANUKAU. Two hairdressers=Two horrific haircuts. One an Indian lady was very rude. I could not believe the haircuts my boys recieved and the comments I have had about them. It was a total hack job to say the least. The only reason I will go back there is to confront the owners.

I believe with the bad service and comments from the reviews above basically Hairport Manukau which is actually Allure Hair and Beauty Limited does not have a single qualified Hair Stylists or Beauty Therapists most of them are poor students or visitors who came here initially on student or work visas and have been exploited they work very hard and have not received an increase in salary for the past eight years over. All of them are still paid just the minimum wage plus a commission where they have to work long hours sometimes without a wage to make a decent wage to live on. The owners two of them initally are slave masters and have no scrupals now we believe there are two more who have shares in the company and the husband of these new partners is a snake and never made it in any of the many ventures he went into for the past twenty years he is good to put more pressure and exploit the employees who earn good money for this business. The owners claim to have made millions but are they happy and healthy can they sleep well how can one when you exploit honest hard working unqulaifed staff. Many staff have not been paid their proper wages and when they request for the same they are threatened with termination there have been many cases in the Employment court and many more to follow in the days to come. I also hear that they have recently taken over the management of an upmarket salon at Broadway, Newmarket called Broadway Hair and Beauty Lounge watch out staff and people I believe the staff there are good recruited by a friend who knows how to run a business hope this will not be another Haiport Manukau which is actually Allure Hair and Beauty Limited.

I went into hairport manukau last Tuesday and had a colour put in my hair the colour has continued to come out of my hair everytime I washed it I am not happy with the result. I payed $90.00 for a permanent dye and this is obviously not what was used. I am a student and am therefore unable to afford to have this problem recitified. I realise that the lady who did my hair did it on short notice but does this mean that the quality of service is poor. I then went in to have the problem sorted just for the lady to make me feel like an idiot and make me feel like it was my fault that this happened yelling at me that she would not give me a refund. I will be taking this further and would NEVER recommend hairport to ANYONE alot of my friends go there for eyebrows and things but will no longer go to hairport. I am also sending letters to fair go and target if my problem is not soved

ATTENTION! DO NOT GO TO HAIRPORT IN MANUKAU! I went to hairport in manukau to get my eyebrows waxed & threaded. I Got my skin waxed off instead of my eyebrows. She tore off the skin just above my eyelid and they didn't even explain to me what happened or what I should do in reguards to medical advice! It was raw,weeping and bruised. I went back there and after three Indian ladies stood and examined my eye and conversed in their language, one of them, who was not a Skin Specialist confirmed with me that it wasn't going to scar. And now 3 weeks later I have a scar! Honestly, you walk in there wanting to walk out feeling good & beautiful, not weeping and bruised! I will never ever go back there!

I got my eyelashes tinted at Hairport Manukau, and the woman who did them was far too rough when she removed the dye - vigorously rubbing my eyes - so that they were red looking and tender afterwards. Every good beautician should know that the eye area is very delicate and you should be gentle with it! The next time I thankfully got another girl (young, Japanese looking) who was fine. But the third time I got the bad woman again, and this time she forgot about me after she put the dye on and left me there for about 20 minutes and it was starting to really sting so I had to start calling out "Hello?" "Anybody there?" Before she finally came back and washed the dye off! Roughly again! Hairport is nice and cheap, but I'm going to have to pay a bit more and go somewhere else in future to make sure I don't get that rough woman again!

I went here a few weeks ago to get my haircut...he cut my hair too short and it is completly uneven. When i asked him to thin my hair he asked if that was because i wanted volume and texture...to get it thinned means literally that...thin it out to get rid of volume and texture then i had to explain how it was done. I will not go back to the Hairport in Manukau again. I went for the first time on Friday night. I was getting my eyebrows threaded and normally I go to Kess in Manukau but I decided to see what they were like. She told me that it was going to cost $8 because I was getting them reshaped (because my hairs were longer). And on top of that she was txting while she was doing mine and my friends eyebrows. She was rude and I was not impressed at all.

If you're going for eyebrows, insist on seeing NAAZ. One of the other girls totally ruined my eyebrows (one thinner than the other & one higher than the other!) and I swore to never go back. But after growing them in and being pressed for time before a night out, I found myself back at Manukau praying that I would get someone competent this time around! And I am so glad because Naaz did (and continues to do) a fantastic job! And she's a pretty good laugh as well =]

It looked like my face had been hit with herpes. She didn't discuss any aftercare or whether I had sensitive skin. It may pay to do this in future with other customers to prevent this type of problem from happening again. If anyone does decide to go there......... it may pay to discuss these issues before laying on the table.

I have been a client of the hairport for approx 3 years. I originally only ever used the beauty range of services and after being pleased with the service, quality of work and price with leg waxes, and facials I decided to try them for my hair. On my first appointment I only had a trim but was happy enough will all aspects of the job to then use them for a full colour (with foils) and cut. The lady who did my hair was lovely (friendly) and did a fantastic job of my hair. My hair is very long (to waist) so as requires a lot of care I am very particular as to where I go for cuts and colours. I have been more then happy with hairport and although I have only been having them do my hair for approx 12mths, I will continue to be a customer as I have not complaints.
I have been a client of the hairport for approx 3 years. I originally only ever used the beauty range of services and after being pleased with the service, quality of work and price with leg waxes, and facials I decided to try them for my hair. On my first appointment I only had a trim but was happy enough will all aspects of the job to then use them for a full colour (with foils) and cut. The lady who did my hair was lovely (friendly) and did a fantastic job of my hair. My hair is very long (to waist) so as requires a lot of care I am very particular as to where I go for cuts and colours. I have been more then happy with hairport and although I have only been having them do my hair for approx 12mths, I will continue to be a customer as I have not complaints.

I myself have also been to hairport in manakau and had a lady there that coloured my hair she was slow really rude to me because i told her not to blow dry my hair...and also left me for a long period of time and went and did someone elses hair how rude is that. i also say ladies be warned also did a crap job on the colour of my hair came out nothinglike id asked for.

THERE WAS A MALE HAIRDRESSER (FEMININE TYPE) WORKING AT THE MANUKAU HAIRPORT AND HE WAS ABSOLUTELY ATTROCIOUS AT CUTTING HAIR. HE RUINED MY FIVE YEAR OLDS BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF HAIR.HE HAD NO EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER AND TALKED THE WHOLE TIME TO ANOTHER COLLEAGUE WHILE CUTTING. MY SONS HAIR WAS UNEVEN AND SHAVED BY WHAT COULD HAVE A BLIND MAN. I WAS FURIOUS AND REFUSE TO GO BACK THERE EVER. LADIES BE WARNED!!!!

If you're going for eyebrows, insist on seeing NAAZ. One of the other girls totally ruined my eyebrows (one thinner than the other & one higher than the other!) and I swore to never go back. But after growing them in and being pressed for time before a night out, I found myself back at Manukau praying that I would get someone competent this time around! And I am so glad because Naaz did (and continues to do) a fantastic job! And she's a pretty good laugh as well =]
