Lost, confused, overwhelmed? relationship issues?

This practice is a personal development process. The focus of the process is personal change. Individuals, couples and families utilize individual sessions, and/or ongoing groups and/or weekend to week-long personal growth workshops to work on aspects of themselves they wish to change. The principal counselling approaches are typically cognitive - experiential.

You can make contact with the practice and discuss your needs with Harris Brown the practice manager. Most people benefit from individual sessions. You can come along for as long or as short as you feel there is benefit. Some people come along for a session or two, and others warm up to their overall life in a fuller way and maintain an ongoing relationship with us.

For those who really wish to address their life, we offer ongoing growth groups. The groups are deep places to evolve yourself and enrich your life. We employ a variety of growth approaches including psychodrama, bodywork, breathwork and groupwork to bring participants into contact with themselves and others. The groups work best for honest people who sincerely wish to change, grow and enrich there lives.

The practice currently has three ongoing growth groups. The group processes are an omnibus approach which means individuals come along for as long as they feel they benefit. Group work is by far the most powerful change agent that exists today. The social personal nature of groups means real healing and change can occur. People grow best with people.

The practice currently has two staff counsellors who are available for one off or ongoing individual sessions.

The most common presentations lately are relationship infidelity issues, individuals experiencing emotional overwhelm, feeling of depression, anxiety, relationship and/or intimacy issues, sexuality issues, anger issues... just ordinary life stuff really.
