Port Pack & Coolstorage is a Mount Maunganui based storage facility. We are established in the Tauranga, Bay of Plenty area, servicing both local and overseas companies.


What is unique about us is our service. We offer a more personalised approach that enables a hassle free, prompt, accurate and timely flow of product to and from our facility.

We are one of the smallest stores in New Zealand, but that gives us real advantages in systems, personnel and flexibility in dealing with customer(TM)s requests. We have 2000 tonnes of storage capacity.

We are well established and experienced in the coolstorage industry with over 20 years of servicing customers from within New Zealand and overseas.

We typically provide chilled and cold storage for the seafood, dairy, berryfruit, juice, puree and petfood industries. We do provide storage for a diverse range of products.

Our aim is to provide to you a hassle free storage service for your frozen and chilled products.

We strive to provide you with a high quality and friendly but most importantly a personalised service that meets your needs.

As an independent operator and a licenced coldstore we are able to provide a whole range of services to a wide range of industries. Products stored include Seafood, bait, dairy (butter, cheese and margarine), stockfood, berry fruit, horticultural products, fruit juices / purees, ice, petfood, honey / bee related products and a whole host of other stock lines.

We are a New Zealand Food Safety Authority registered storage facility that is fully licenced to store chilled, frozen and dry products. Our freezers and chillers are able to operate at a range of temperatures to suit your needs. Licences are held for seafood, dairy, petfood honey and local market meat.

Our Risk Management Programme is fully approved and is based on the application of HACCP principles. We are also registered with the US Food and Drug Administration to store food products.
