12th April 2009 FANTASTIC, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMONED TO OTHERS! We had a family event at Tatum Park in February and found the staff and service to be exceptional. They went out of their way to help organise our celebration so that it ran smoothly. The food was fantastic and there was PLENTY for all of us. The grounds were lovely to walk around and the kids had a fantastic time. They are fully licensed so we couldn't take our own alcohol. However, they opened the bar at our convenience and the wine and beer selection was great. The accommodation suited a range of budgets which was great. It was nice not having to travel after our dinner and a few celebratory drinks at the bar. The rooms and bathroom facilities were very clean and tidy, and serviced every day. My husband is going to organise his work conference later this year. We would thoroughly recommend Tatum Park for a family gathering, or conference. It would also make a lovely wedding venue with its gorgeous bush setting.

23rd February 2009 We had a family reunion at Tatum Park on the weekend of 21 February 2009. This had been booked some time in advance and was to be a very special occassion. The reunion consisted of approx 100 people and I don't think any of them will be referring anyone to this venue. For the number of people attending, we were told that we would be charged $11.00 per head per night for unpowered tent sites and campers, but most were charged $15.00 per head including myself. That is $45.00 for a peice of grass per night. No discounts were given to the families staying in the Cabins and the cabins were defintely nothing to rave about, and most of us felt they were far too expensive. The communal kitchen consists of a couple of microwaves, mini bar fridges, a double hot plate (which on has one side going) and little grill ovens. Not nearly a kitchen to cook a meal for a family. We had also booked a saturday night meal for approx 70 - 80 of us. We were told it was a roast dinner and was a special at $25.00 per head. The meal was roast chicken only, with boiled potatoes, a mixture of courgettes, carrots, brocolli and under cooked cauliflower, pumpkin (not very hot) mesculin salad and a type of homemade bread, gravy. Unfortunately 6 of the family members who attended found to their discust that there was not enough food left for them. We were told that the chef had thought that we would have enough food. For approx $1700 you would expect there to be enough food to go back for seconds! When management was confronted about the lack of food, he was very rude and arrogant and gave only 1 refund for dinner of $30.00. He also had the nerve to come over later to the hall which we had hired at $4.75 per head, to ask who was paying the corkage fee as we had all bought our own drinks with us to have at our family event in the hall. The hall had a small kitchen for making hot drinks and toast, but it was being re-painted and we had to ask for it to be unlocked so that we could use it. As we were paying for the hall, this should have been made available to us anyway. In all, the management were rude, and completely dis-organised, they were understaffed, the cooking facilities were ridiculous and as for the meal, we would have done better to book a meal at McDonalds, as it would have been cheaper and at least we all would have been able to eat. I am aware that this place changed into new management in December, but if they were not ready to deal with such a lot of people, then they should have let us know, considering the money we were paying. Not a great place to stay and not recommended to anyone. I have given 1/2 star only.
everything was so cool at tatum park great food staff bush and the rooms were very clean so im giving 5 out of 5
