Applied Imaging charged us for good via our Credit Card and did not supply the goods. We tried to contact them repeatedly but there was no answer to our telephone calls. Nobody should deal with this company they are just out to rip people off they have stung us over $1600 dollars. I am seriously considering taking legal action against them

I'm seriously considering taking them to the disputes tribunal - but I don't have much in writing which is what they want to give evidence. Anyone want to come with & complain in force? I asked 'Kate' to send me the original contract which approved all of these cartridges - she said there is none - she doesn't even have copies of the faxes they send to everyone. She said it was a 'verbal contract' bulltihs - she doesn't even have a Purchase Order # from us - she said 'your name' was the PO# and that we have to pay for the 'last order' (i'm sure that last one WAS the last order - apparently there is another 'last one') so we need to pay the difference which is $2,000 or the remaining $750. It all started the same, try out our products and if you don't like it return it - good luck! Got duped into thinking we did have a contract with them and had to complete the order... grrrr

Was twice cold called to purchase a toner cartridge for my HP printer then got an email with a price. When I asked what yeild their cartridge had Kate could not give it to me but said it would provice 40% more that the OEM cartridge. When I asked how can they provide this extra yeild when the manufacturer does not. Kate stated they use a soluble dye instead of an ink. I unfortunately too have been sucked in by this company. Cold called. I also got cartridges from them put them into my printer only to find my printer no longer had the print quality it originally had. I have had numerous phone calls from various callers trying to get me to order more. I have told them each time I do not want any more product from them. I wish I had googled before being trusting of this CROOKED company. It begins probably 18mths ago for me, very similar storey. However I have been continuously contacted by a couple of their reps, 1 a guy called Sam (I think) with an Indian accent who has rung on TWO separate occasions asking why I have returned my free gift unopened. I never received any gift and when I stated this he spealed back my address and said he would resend it, but (ha ha yes there was a but) first I had to sign a fax he was sending me and urgently return it, so as to complete my original order. He also said he needed it urgently as the order had already left on the courier. WHAT THE I did not have anything to complete. It was the same conversation each time with him. The other rep was a woman Kate (Aussie accent) same storey but no free gift. She actually left a message on my cell ph once stating one name then saying oh I mean Kate. Hello who does not know their own name. This company gets worse! I get a call from Kate today AGAIN stating I need to complete my order and when I said I did not want any more product from them she said because I got the previous cartridges at a discounted rate (hello phenomenal cost) she would have to go back and charge me with the extra for not completing my order. I said I will not be paying any more to this company. She is handing it on to her manager. I wait with baited breath as to what the next storey will be, I am worried that they may be able to take me to baycorp and ruin my credit rating. Scoundrels!

I quite agree with the other reveiwers. This Company has no valid return address to return unsolicited goods to or will not give out a valid return address on phoning. The sales person has to give you a return number. Apparently one of our staff members on holiday overseas placed the order for which we are currently being charged. How to return it, I have run out of ideas. Sending a package to the P O Box number is not successful as it is returned to sender. Trying to get a valid address is impossible with this outfit. I strongly urge everyone to be wary of this dodgy company.

Watch out for the "Oh we left one box of cartridges on the courier and he forgot to deliver them" trick. They then ask you to sign a form so they can get them re delivered but this is actually another invoice for a whole new order.

Do NOT deal with this company. Genuine OEM toners are cheaper than what they provide even taking into account supposed longer life. They will dream up that you still have outstanding toners to be delivered. Even after getting them to sign that the account is closed and was the final delivery, they're still trying to convince me that they have toners to deliver to us (the "we have toners waiting at the courier to deliver" story mentioned by others). If you try to reduce an order, they claim their manager would have to look into the order and we would have to be charged "full price" for all orders, which is more than double even their existing rates. The deliveries they do make often take several months to complete (which I'm sure sets out only to confuse further as to what has been received), and when payment time comes they jump all over you to get immediate payment by direct credit for a 10% discount (still more than OEM). The only way I can see they stay in business is by hardballing people into accepting their goods. It's absolutly disgusting.

Similar issue. I was cold called and asked if I wanted to 'trial' some cartridges for my fax/printer to test how long they would last me compared to my old ones (interesting scenario, reminded me of the 'go and run a bath' scam!) - this entailed taking out the ones already being used and replacing them with the new ones sent from Applied Imaging - I explained to my 'rep' who was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot; that I would be waiting until my current catridges has expired before using the new ones, which he grudgingly accepted. I was sent 2 black and 2 colour cartridges and sure enough my black one ran out so I simply replaced it - the black only. Two weeks later my printer completely died - and we bought another. I still had these random cartidges left over so organised with my rep to exchange them for a new cartidge to suit the new printer. It took them a little while but eventually a courier came, picked up the old ones - I was invoiced the difference and then sent a new catridge as requested. Hunky-dory...? Or so it seemed. Obviously I was waiting until the current catridge had run out until I replaced it with the new one (as before) but when it came to replacing the cartridge, lo and behold it didn't fit my machine! I left a message with my 'rep' who was as useless as ever, and eventually got a call from a lovely lady in their accounts dept who was very helpful indeed - almost to the point of 'why the hell have I not been dealing with you all this time' - she organised for the rogue cartridge to be picked up (which took about 2 weeks) and told me that another had been ordered and would be sent as I had already paid for it. That was 2 weeks ago and I have had two calls from my 'rep' - who by this time WAS a chocolate teapot, stating that there was a delay in the delivery due to courier issues - they are only on the north shore, I could probably drive past and pick it up - which might be exactly what will end up happening. I was very wairy of this company and rightly so, I do feel for everyone else on here who has spent a considerable amount of money on product from these baffoons - my order was relatively low, however the amount of my time that has been wasted probably equals that of your invoices! There was one thing that made me laugh though, when I requested that the rogue one be taken away I was advised that a courier form would be faxed to me which I needed to attach to the said package for return - I politely laughed in her face, how the hell was I supposed to print the thing out without any ink?!

Unfortunately I've had a terrible experience dealing with this company too. We got cold called and agreed to buy some toners at a discounted rate. They then phoned repeatedly over the next few months and pushed us into purchasing around $800 worth of toners, saying that we had agreed to buy a certain amount to get the discounted price. When I requested a copy of the agreement, Kate faxed through an order for 12 that was signed by a staff member - later I looked at our copy of the order for that date and it was for 4! So apparently they pasted a false order over the top!! They also used the story about toners sitting in a warehouse waiting for us to pick them up (and needing to be paid for of course) - when Kate tried the warehouse story a second time I finally told her I would not be paying a single cent more and that we did not want any more toners!! Since then I've been trying to exchange some of them for a different kind but no one ever does anything or calls you back. I'm pretty sure that today Kate even pretended to be someone else when I called. I'm giving up now - I strongly recommend not doing business with these people,

Man oh man, I wish one of my staff had read these reviews instead of getting carried away with (and pocketing discount vouchers, free cordless phone etc). Some of their prices are over 3 times the price of the genuine OEM articles and, even if you believe their higher page counts claimed,they were still well over double the OEM price adjusting for the higher page count. We also had similar experiences of receiving goods not ordered etc, etc, etc.

We also have had terrible dealings with this company, they originally sent us a free no-obligation cartridges to try, however the cartridges weren't any good so I returned them, when they finally sent me a return address. I didn't expect anymore cartridges as explained. Since then once a month they will phone and say that the courier has found our cartridges in there warehouse not delivered and they will get them out to us asap along with some vouchers for farmers (never received. It was just last week when Kate phoned again and said the same thing and I said we didn't order them but she insisted that they were never delivered, in the end I told her that we didn't want them and there was no way we were going to pay for them and hung up. We are in the same boat as the previous reviewers no physical address to send them back to. And hence stuck with an over abundance of cartridges. DON'T DEAL WITH THESE GUYS THEY ARE A SCAM

Had terrible dealings with this company and thought I'd do some research into them and what do you know?! I found this site. They sent over $800 worth of toners to us on a free, no-obligation trial. They never turned up then got a phone call from Caroline saying if we paid by credit card that day we would get a discount. I told them the toners had never arrived and we didn't want them anymore. The very next day the toners arrived with a pre-dated invoice and another call from Caroline saying if we paid today on credit card we would get a discount. Again I said we didn't want them and she said she would get someone to phone me back. No one did except another call from Caroline a few days later asking for payment again. This went on for 3 weeks until we finally got a statement from them for payment. I phoned them and left a message for someone to call back. Caroline phoned back wanting to talk to my boss, she refused to deal with me. After I told her what had happened she said my version of events differed to their salesperson's story. My boss phoned back and spoke to the owner. The saga continues...... DON'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A TEN FOOT POLE!

This company are terrible to deal with. I was cold called as well and offered the cartridges at $15 each, when they arrived they were the wrong ones and the invoiced price was $29 each + courier costs. I have requested their physical address 3 times now to return them but they refuse to give it to me and have instead sent me a 'Final Notice' demanding payment or they will engage a debt collection agency. Recommend to stay well away from dealing with this business, they will cause you nothing but grief!.

I highly recommend using Applied Imaging. Their compatible ink cartridges lasted far more than the genuine cartridges i have been using. I am saving over $700 per annum on all of my printing needs. A big thank you to the team over at Applied Imaging!

Hi, Yes I was also cold called about ink cartridges from Applied Imaging Supplies. They were to send me two 'samples' what I got was 10 ink cartridges that didn't even fit my printer and a invoice for $340.76! I'm sending them back unused. They have given me their physical address as being: Unit 10, 40 Arrenway Drive, Mairangi Bay, Auckland.

We have been supplied two lots of product from this company. The second lot was sent and invoiced without our request. We installed 1 of their cartridges into our printer and within 2 days our printer no longer worked and we had to buy a new one which cost us $500. They will not refund our $270 for the original product (which we paid before we used the product) and they are threathening to take us to baycorp for payment of the second lot which we have not used and do not want to use. They also will not let us return it!! We have tried to get a physical address from them but they will not give it to us. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! They are a scam!

WARNING! be careful when dealing with this company! They cold called me over the phone and offered a free trial of 100% geniune toner cartridges for my laser printers for a month - use them, compare them to my existing supplier (Cartridge World who are fantastic), and if I don't like the quality, or the price etc, then simply return the products... They ring and pressure me to buy, won't provide an authorisation number, or physical address and talk on the phone as if they have multiple warehouses in Australia and NZ... My advice is don't use them! (Use one of the Cartridge World franchisee holders).

These are the facts. Product very expensive, over 33% dearer than genuine article. Delivery fees very dear. So I decided to return the cartridges without opening them. They did not reply to emails. Operators always busy. Did not return call for several days but I was away at the time and when I called back operator was busy. No physical address on invoice. Could not get authorisation number but I located the address on www.cdlgroup.net who have the same phone number and returned the product in person. Physical address is Unit 10/40 Arrenway Drive Mairangi Bay. No sign on door.

Be wary of this company. They have NO physical address on their invoices (only a P.O. Box number). I have been trying to return some bad product to them and all I have been getting is delays, procrastination and being put on hold (at my expense because they have no 0800 number). They will not give out their physical address over the phone, and demand an "authorisation" number, which they seem reluctant to to supply. They have failed to return calls. My advice is to stay away from this company!
