Centre is located within the shopping district of Onehunga community. It shares the building with Onehunga CAB and Library. It has ample street parking our the front as well as a large Auckland city council carpark situated at the back of the building. The centre links nicely with the public transport system, being situated next to the Bus Terminal. It is suitable for a number of indoor activities with a serviceable kitchen which can be used for cooking classes and demonstrations. We have three carpeted areas upstairs which can be opened up into one large space, enough capacity for 120pax. There is also another 2 rooms, 1 quite a bit larger than the other, but the space can als9o be opened up with capacity for 80-100pax. This space has all hard wooden floors, suitable for dancing, aerobics, indoor activities and workshops. The last space upstairs is a lovely spacious room with capacity for 40-50pax. It has a seperate kitchen facility (not fully serviceable as yet) and a seperate toilet facility. The toilet facilities are for children with baby changing facilities as well as a small shub unit, as we have a Barnardos Kidstart Playgroup programme currently running 1 day a week as well as the Onehunga Toy Library operating from the centre 3 times a week. Downstairs, we have the Maungakiekie Boardroom, maximum capacity of 25pax, situated on the western side of the building with separate kitchen and toilet facilities.
