Finlayson Park Kindergarten is located in the midst of a multi-cultural community and this is reflected by the diversity of the families who attend. Ethnic groups represented at the kindergarten include Maori, Pasifika, Indian, Asian and European. The kindergarten environment and resources acknowledge and celebrate the cultural diversity of the families who attend.
Our programme which is based on the National Early Childhood Curriculum - Te Whaariki, values and celebrates the cultural diversity of the children who attend and aims tomeet each child's individual learning needs. The three trained registered teachers work together to provide children and families with a safe, supportive and well-resourced learning environment.
We believe that each child is special and that children learn best through challenge, exploration and by having lots of fun.
