Parents are more than welcome to enrol their children from birth. The cultural diversity of the Conifer Grove Kindergarten is made up of European, Indian, Maori, Asian and Pacific Island families. Conifer Grove has a strong community atmosphere that strives on educational service and development.
At Conifer Grove Kindergarten we believe that good early childhood curriculum is a collaborative process and we encourage involvement from all members of our community, the children, their parents and whanau.
We believe children learn best when their home life and culture is acknowledged and represented within the kindergarten.
Therefore, we wish to create a place where parent's ideas for learning experiences are valued and utilised in our planning.
How can you be involved?
+ Research questions coming home
+ Involvement on excursions, visitors, follow up comments
+ Involvement in child's portfolios, photographs or stories from home
We believe that children's learning is highly dependent on the relationships between us. Therefore we look forward to developing strong relationships with parents. We look forward to learning with you.
