Clinic42 opened to cater to clients requiring expert appearance medicine. The Clinic has since expanded its repertoire of techniques as well as the number of doctors and therapists working on the premises. Dr Joanna Romanowska says, 'we are passionate about providing safe ethical treatments which can help our clients look and feel their best. The high levels of skill, experience and commitment to continuing professional development at Clinic42 means we are able to provide more treatments and services than ever before. We can now offer treatments by Laser, Intense Pulsed Light and treatments for varicose veins by Sclerotherapy'.

This commitment to professional development has seen Clinic42 recently approved by Southern Cross Healthcare as an affiliated provider for vascular treatment. Clinic42 is also part of a program initiated by Work and Income New Zealand, to treat varicose veins for patients who are unable to afford the procedure, so they may return to the workforce.
