3rd March 2010 Kia ora whanau, TWWH exists mainly because many of us were once there. Being hapu as a teen is never an easy thing, not all of us have good whanau support so TWWH began as a way of doing something for ourselves, a place to belong and a place to learn. Nobody is better than anyone else, we all have skills, we all have mana! To Jo, Gem, Sam, Wiks and all the whanau still sticking hard to the kaupapa, he mihi honore kia koutou. Nga Koka, nga rangatahi, tamariki ataahua:) Ka nui te aroha:) Miss you all:)

27th May 2008 This is the best thing to happen for young mothers in Gisborne... ever. It completely changed my life for the best and I will forever be thankful to all the wonderful people there. Thanks to them I have two beautiful well adjusted children, am married, living in my own home and am in my second year at university. The drug and alcohol-filled life I led before I was introduced to TWWH has been left far far FAR behind me and I've never looked back. In ways I believe my life only really began when I started at TWWH.
