We provide both freedom hire or Navigated canoe trips, through the many rapids and remote long gorges of native bush and scenic landscape on the Whanganui River in the Whanganui National Park.

Our business is built on our ability to provide accurate info on Canoeing/Kayaking & Jet-Boating the Whanganui River & very importantly deliver quality Professional and personalized service.

Almost anyone can enjoy one of our outdoor adventures including large groups, Families, beginner paddlers, experienced kayakers and those that like a challenge and loads of fun on the River. Many customers have been over 65 and thoroughly enjoyed the trip, finding it well within their capabilities and many more clients have never canoed or camped before. Careful instruction & training is provided, and your comfort & enjoyment and safety is our main priority. (Take an extra day if you need it)

We offer a variety of top of the line equipment, Canadian Canoes 2-3 person, sit in/on Kayaks and Double Sit in Kayaks.

Taumarunui Canoe Hire and Jet Boat Tours start our journeys at: Taumarunui, Ohinepane or Whakahoro, and collects people at Ohinepane, Whakahoro or Pipiriki either by Jet Boat or Van/Bus.
