Auckland Homecheck Ltd is not a franchised company. I personally do all inspections, to give you my personal advice and expertise.


I have owned my own building company for 20 years, completing contracts ranging from design and building executive homes to multi million dollar commercial building contracts. I am still a current member of the Master Builders Association which keeps me updated on the latest building developments.

The primary focus of the reports is to identify problems and potential problems in a prospective house, so that you can buy your home with confidence.


A major facet of the report is to assess weather tightness of the house. The leaky building syndrome is a major concern for home buyers and so I use my extensive building experience and moisture testing equipment to insure your home is in sound condition.


To carry out the moisture testing I use a Surveymaster Moisture meter. Infra red testing is available if necessary.


Our comprehensive reports involve a complete inspection from the roof to the foundations, inside and out. The electrics and plumbing are also inspected to see they are in good working condition.


Our reports follow the NZS 4306:2005 standard, insuring all aspects of your house are inspected.
