bought two new marine gauges from this dealer & paid by credit card Received one new gauge and one used,broken and incomplete gauge. Dealers response to complaint was "too bad these things happen.

This person is not being completely honest. When it was brought to our attention that the packaging and instructions were dirty and the customer was unhappy we offered to replace the goods or refund by both phone and email. This person wanted the goods replaced without having to return the original goods. Regretfully this is not acceptable.

I contacted the owner of this business to give me a quote for some spares, after an extremely tardy txt with prices a day later I phoned to inquire as to the availability of said spares. I was informed I would have to leave a deposit and they would be ordered in. I responded that I could get them ordered in online myself and was abruptly told that I had wasted enough of his time and the phone was put down on me. I accept that the customer is not always right and that this may be a frustration for some business owners. It is however a non-negotiable that anybody running a business should be courteous and polite to a customer. I found this person to be rude and obnoxious and can not recommend this business.

Regretfully this personal did not wish to pay a deposit to allow us to order specific parts for him. When he suggested he could purchase them cheaper elsewhere we did him a service by suggesting he do this to his finachial benefit.
