Situated across from Aotea Square in Auckland city, Brooklyn Bar & Lounge stretches from Queen Street thru to Lorne Street opposite the central library.
21st March 2013 Went in February 2013 & after visiting the Art Gallery. My partner & I shared the Brazilian Platter, which was very tasty. The kids loved the Chicken Penne. Great food , Friendly staff , nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definately recommend.

27th January 2012 My partner and I love coming to this bar for a meal when we are in town.
The service is friendly, but not smothering, the drinks are served in generous sizes and the food is a great example of what bar food should be.
We love the Brooklyn Tower Burger - it is filling and well-priced, and last time we visited I ordered the cheesecake of the day - which was berry and it tasted fantastic, especially with the compote served with it.

15th July 2010 Great central location. Not many good bars right near Queen St. It looks small from the outside but don't be deceived as it's quite roomy once you're in the door.

8th July 2010 Great place for casual catchup or after work drinks, it's refreshing to have a bar in such a busy location that can still provide a chilled out atmosphere. There's a smoker's outdoor area and i have often been here for birthday parties on the side of the bar opposite queen street
