11th November 2011 This is a gem of a restaurant, discretely tucked away down an alley. By far the best restaurant in Queenstown. We started with the tasting plate entree which contains selections from the chef, and is recommended. The food was divine with an extensive wine list. The staff were very friendly and relaxed. When asked to make a wine choice they were spot on. After the meal we enjoyed time in the bar with a divine barman that was so friendly he would be reason enough to return. Thank you The Bunker for making the visit to Queenstown even more special.
This hard-to-find gem is discretely hidden down a dark alley behind an elusive wooden door with no signs, no advertising, no welcome in sign...
However, despite the discreet exterior this favourite Queenstown establishment has an intoxicating mix of fine dining downstairs and a private cocktail lounge upstairs. Complete with open log fires, soothing music and leather couches to sink into until the wee hours of the morning.
This much sought after restaurant may at first seem secretive and exclusive but once you step foot through the door you'll find that the people who know the secret whereabouts of this fine bar and restaurant are locals and adventurers a like, and the staff will welcome you with open arms.

25th May 2009 This restaurant is easily the best restaurant in Queenstown! The food is amazing, a fantastic selection of NZ wines and the staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough - I have been telling all my friends about it!

10th April 2009 This place is amazing, I would highly recommend it. I got engaged here and the staff helped me make it an amazing night all round. The food was perfect, the service was very special and the wine choice blew me away. We will be back for an anniversay, its magic.
