For most of IAL's learners, employment is the desired outcome and they provides the service to assist with employment outcomes. In Hospitality, Health Care and Contact Centre we offer work based experience. For Contact Centre, we actually run our own contact centre providing a sound environment for our learners to experience real time contact centres. We offer our computing students opportunities to get hands on as often as possible with networks, computers and systems. The lab is set-up for them to practice until they can do whatever job they are trying without a problem.

IAL has a spacious well appointed campus with large classrooms and computer labs, and includes a computer work shop and a restaurant and bar providing students with work experience opportunities.
IAL also offers professional development training in IELTS (IELTS certification); Barista, LCQ and Food Safety (HSI certifications); CompTIA, CISCO and Microsoft (MCSE, MCITP) qualifications (all Internationally recognised certifications) on a full time or part time basis.
IAL is also a Pearson Vue, Microsoft, and GMAT testing centre.
The IAL campus is located in Otahuhu and offers free student car parking, and is situated across from the central bus station. The campus is close to restaurants, cafes and shops.
