Emailed them last night, they came today and got the dishdrawer running again. Then told us on new parts that Fisher& Paykel are putting into machines and that they would bring them out and fit them on our dishdrawer at no cost. I am very impressed. Thank you

My experience with this company from phone call to service call was completely positive... friendly receptionist booked me in on the same day... technician came within timeframe and was highly efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed my dishdrawer in under 10min.... oh, and taught me how to fix it too! Highly recommended.

I bought a maytag washing machine...very expensive it was....its just had its first breakdown which was covered under the extended warranty through Harvey Norman. Langes appliances was contracted to fix my machine under this warranty, He inspected the machine on arrival and i informed the technician what was wrong with my machine. We inspected the machine for damage before he took it away for repair since i knew of these negative reviews on this site. I also had said to the technician to look after my machine as it is my pride and joy. I have recieved delivery of my machine this morning 6/11/12. and under closer inspection their is enamel coating missing from the front coners and lid of the machine. I will try ring them tomorrow and demand it to be repaired. I see by reviewing most of the reviews on this site..i may have no luck. I will give an update after my experience.

Good service in terms of coming out to look at my dishwasher the same day but took it away and said they would call the following day to let me know what the problem was and how much it would cost . They didn't,t call at all so after the weekend I decided I would call them but they rang before I could to say they had fixed the machine and would come and drop it off later that day! I am pleased but they were lucky I was prepared to pay the extra to have it fixed

Called on several occasions to ask if someone could come look at oven, Each time told yes someone will be around to take a look at the oven.... then after 2 weeks called again- then was told they have no record of job. AGAIN gave contact number address etc but still took another 3 weeks... In general over a month to get the oven fan fixed. Lucky Oven still worked. I wouldn't use again very slack service. Job was finally completed but wish we had looked into a different repair company. Work on your communication Lange's!

This is possibly the worst customer service I have ever come across. On the 2 occasions we have been forced to use them (as they are the Hawkes Bay supplier for Smeg appliances) the reception staff have been blunt and rude. They have been unable to quote us for a part at the time of ordering and when pushed for a quote ended up giving one that that was less than half the final bill we were charged (on both occasions). They also ordered the wrong parts completely on both occasions. This coupled with the 6 weeks it took them to get the first part and them loosing our telephone number so not contacting us when the parts arrived all made for a terrible experience. When asked if they thought this was good service the receptionist simply snarled and said she would pass the feedback on. Companies like this only survive due to the monopolies they hold on contracts such as the Smeg one.

Lange has cost us about $2,000 with their poor service. They left us without a washing machine for over 6 weeks and refused to provide a temporary replacement. Samsung advised us that they would replace our machine for free if Lange would send a report stating that the same part kept breaking (which was the case, and the machine was still under warranty). Even thought Lange's technical staff agree that the fault would not go away, their admin staff refused to send the report. A few months later the warranty expired, the same part broke again and we've had to replace the whole unit at full cost. We'll never use Lange's again, preferring a more reliable repair service.

I was verbally quoted a price for a specific item based on a Model number (as they requested they needed) and received, and paid for, the wrong product at the quoted price. Lange's admitted when I contacted them that they quoted based on the model number I had given them but they “make a mistake”. When I stated I needed the right item they insisted I pay an extra 50% more to get the correct product only because their service technician wasn't sure which item was the correct item for my model in the first place. I refused to pay 50% more than the quoted price and demanded my money back. Any error in quoting is their mistakes not mine! It has been over two weeks since they received the incorrect goods back at their store and I have as yet not been refunding any money even after their staff assured me I would receive a cheque in the mail within a week. I found their receptionists rude and unapologetic for their mistakes and I would loathe to use them again.
