11th November 2011 AMAZING SALON!! Love it! I've been going for years! Didn't matter if I was pregnant, or even had to bring my baby in with me. I'm always treated perfectly! and I walk away loving my hair EVERY TIME! Angela is awesome I love her, she always remembers who I am so I feel special! I can't wait for my wedding day coming up to enjoy having my hair done with all my family and friends as well!! Totally and 100% recommended!!!!
6th December 2011 I would not recommend this business or Protege's business to anyone. Not only did Anne do an incredibly quick, rushed, and undesirable job on my hairstyle, she made me pay $50 more than what I was quoted on the phone. I paid $150 for a style (JUST A STYLE) that took her 25 minutes from start to finish (I timed it). It didn't even look good, and, though I was assured otherwise, the 'curls' fell out almost immediately.
All in all, not only was my service unsatisfactory, but the business was unethical. It brings me to tears thinking of this experience. I honestly feel robbed.

21st September 2011 I Went here for years, was always happy with my hair even though it was right up there in the price range. I had'int been back in a while since having my daughter, and as I am getting married in 3 weeks and went in to make an appointment, I wanted to talk to Anne as I trusted her opinion, I was treated badly and spoken rudely to and made to feel an inconvenience as she huffed and puffed and yelled her disaproval of me wanting to take 5 minutes of her time, across the salon floor, as she had dye in her hair and was busy talking to her client in the chair washing her hair. I guess now I am considered lower class seeing I am a busy mum who gets time to chuck on whats first. It was a real shame I left upset, because my 5 bridesmaids, 3 flowergirls, myself, my partner and his 5 groomsmen and my mum wont be coming into your salon to spend our money. I thought to myself everyone has a bad day and was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt but after reading and hearing from others how badly they too have been treated coming into your salon Id say one two many bad day's have done nothing but loose custom and a bad reputation.

22nd May 2011 First time I went there, had excellent service, happy with hair cut although price was really expensive. 2nd and third experiences not good, wanted half a head of blonde highlights, received about 8 and paid a lot, went back to add more highlights (before my wedding) and hairdresser ended up dying my whole hair brown and then put highlights in. Left dye to process too long - hair was frazzled, had to be cut 6 weeks before my wedding. Complained to hairdresser and was told that it would grow back. Would not recommend, quality not consistent and hugely over priced ($250 for bad highlights).

19th May 2011 Absolutely fabulous salon - I've been going there for a while now, and have never walked away with anything I'm not completely happy with. They are so much better than any other salon I've been to.

23rd August 2010 I've been going to protege for a month now and so far i'm impressed!
I use to go to schnips but found i was never quite happy with their results plus their services are expensive.
Angela who is a senior stylist there always does an amazing job with my hair,the customer service is great,and the ladies are very friendly and sociable with their customers.

28th July 2010 I would not recommend this place!!! it was very expensive, I have been there 4 times and left crying twice... I will NOT be going back! they are very rude and dont care about there customers at all.

11th February 2009 I like protege. Yes they are quite pricey: but i am always 100% happy with the job they do. Other places I have gone charge the same or similar price and I have not been happy. The girls at protege always seem to know exactly what I want: even when I cannot explain itr :)

18th December 2008 I would not recommend this place to anyone. I used to be a happy regular customer until they botched up a job which almost cost me $300. I went back there to get it repaired and the team were very rude to me - not to mention i was yelled at by the owner infront of other clients in the salon and told not to go back there. The owner said it was no fault of theirs, however i was not shown swatches or anything to say what colour my hair would turn out to be. I trusted that with my previous colour on file i was in good hands. This was not the case. Be VERY wary of this hairdresser as it is also VERY expensive.

5th November 2008 Excellent service every time from Anne and the friendly team at Protege. I would highly recommend this hair and beauty one stop shop to anyone looking for quality hair dressing at an affordable cost. 5 stars.
