Local Matters publishes three community newspapers, amounting to about 58,500 papers a month. Northern Matters and Mahurangi Matters come out monthly and are based in Warkworth, while Hibiscus Matters publishes twice a month from an office based at Whangaparoa. The papers cover an area from Silverdale north to Maungaturoto/Mangawhai, including Whangaparaoa, Orewa, Warkworth, Matakana and Wellsford. We specialise in locally sourced communty news and information, relevant to the communities we serve. The papers are A4 size, and have a longer shelf-life than a typical newspaper. Feedback indicates that most people don't throw out the current issue until the next one appears in their letterbox. This provides advertisers with a better opportunity to market their goods or services. We also operate a much-used website at www.localmatters.co.nz which includes a directory of trades and services, and professionals working in our circulation areas.
