So I decided to buy a used car and went off to Save & Drive North Shore this Sunday 20th Jan, found a car I was super interested in so of course next step test drive right? Ah no... Sales guy: so are you going to put down a deposit? Me: to test drive?, I don't even know if I like how it drives Sales guy: well, test drives waste a lot of our time Me: do they? well I'm not here to waste your time, but I'm not giving you money before I test drive or my mechanic sees it Sales guy: well get your mechanic to come now Me: but I haven't test drove it! why would I pay my mechanic to come now? what if I don't like the way it rides + it's Sunday, he doesn't work on Sundays Sales guy: people steal parts off our cars Me: ok random, so let me get this right... if I don't give you money before I test drive this car your brain processing concluded that I'm must be going to steal parts off the car ... ok well, bye bye, you have my email, let me know if you stop being completely insane, so I can test drive this car. Does this sound scammy or what?
