8th September 2010 Very nice food there. Had the chicken don buri set for 38.50. So much food and couldn't finish it,took half of the chicken don buri home. Doesn't happen very often for Japanese restaurant. Love its green tea Ice cream. Very very yummy
For delicious Japanese cuisine, head to Dondon Rikka and try out the special menus. Choose any of the dishes available which are all served with lovely steaming rice.

5th July 2010 Parking is always an illuminating time parking in newmarket on a rainy evening stress levels through the roof but then stepping into Don Dons makes it all worth it its like stepping into Soho New York or a little place in Tokyo very trendy settings modern and neat. Service was a little slow I had a plum wine on ice followed by miso soup and a japanese vegetable spread the presentation of the food always astounds some dishes come out on what looks to be a mini open fire very adventourous me my main consisted of teriyaki chicken donburi which looked mouth watering and tasted exactley how it looked, the service isnt great but the delicious food will always keep me coming back
