Went here last night for dessert. I did take a look at the menu was impressed with the selection (although I only ordered a crepe and tea). Atmosphere felt very authentic French. My crepe was lovely and flambeed at our table. I'm willing to go here again to try something from the mains, although I'll make sure my company isn't vegetarian.

I had not been here for some time and was looking forward to it but walked away bitterly disappointed. The owners have changes the chef has changed and the food ordinary. I won't be going back and recommend that you walk a bit further and go somewhere else.

Several years ago I would have given this place 3.5 stars but it no longer has French people running it, and it shows. I was told upon sitting down that the menu prices were wrong, which I suspect has something to do with the Rugby world cup. French toast: The meal was a good size and toast was good but the bacon was cheap ham type, and the overkill on the berries overpowered the other flavour. Eggs Benedict: Eggs were a little overdone and came with no side not even garnish, Hollandaise sauce was all wrong (unless the French make it differently)

Went for a work meal, was nice, excellent wine for $30 a bottle, but I wasn't that impressed with the snails, not very much flavour. Crepe suzette was excellent.

We came across this place by chance and stopped in. The staff are actually french and were delighted that we had a french guest with us. The crepes are divine. We had a reasonably large group and everyone enjoyed their food. Will definitely be going back!

This is certainly a place to go to for the desserts. The mains are pretty impressive too, changing to keep the menu and your choices fresh. Service is great and welcoming. The wine list too has a variety of French wines, but now they do very reasonable corkage too, so you’re able to BYO now if you like. Out back is an interesting place to eat even in winter, under the heaters, but wear warm socks. Inside you can watch the Kingsland glitterati wander past as you realise you’re on the right-side of the glass as you enjoy a great meal.

A great place to go with friends for a touch of rustic French food. Try the French Onion Soup - and leave room for the Crepes! In a word - YUM!
