5th December 2014 Racist Reception....rude service....horrific experience
A small precap:
I brought a member with Newmarket Auto Repairs through Hanna Direct. Which includes 2 wof's, 2 services etc. I did my first wof six months back, this was done on Saturday. While selling member i was told that these guys works on Saturday so the website says so.
Now the real thing:
Today I called them to book in for my next wof booking, the representative received the phone. As I tried asked him to book me for Saturday he said "I am the only wof inspector here & I don't work on Saturday" he got from my accent that I am Indian. Apparently he was Fiji Indian (as he told to me).
I told him that "I did my last wof on Saturday and your website also says that you works on Saturday".
He rudely replied "See I have customers in front me, whatever you want say say it fast" I replied "I need some time to think how to leave my car with you during weekdays" He said "Call back when you are done thinking" and hung up the phone.
I called him after 5 mins and told him that I want to speak to manager. While he was calling his manager, I over heard him saying this manager "Some idiot Indian wants to book on Saturday!!!" which is a racial comment and spoiled my whole day.
The mechanics are good, I had a good experience while doing my first wof, but people on reception have no clue and are racist.
I have cancelled my membership which was work $169, thanks to hanna direct they are going to refund $100 back.
Really reliable, honest, trustworthy and decent guys. They repaired my car to the highest standard, and I fully recommend them.
