After years of going to the same central city salon, I tried Olette after moving into the neighbourhood. Both stylists I have met are friendly and really good ... and it was actually less than what I was paying in town... so I'm a happy new customer.

I specifically booked in for my hair to be cut & set, not blow waved. "Experienced" stylist refused to do it and said it wasn't her thing. Too late to leave, I was already in the chair. I asked for hair not to be straightened and it was blow dried flat. Cut showed no style. It was a rushed job. I went home and rewashed my hair and did it again myself.

While I had a fantastic experience the first time I went I haven't been so happy since. I've now been five times and every time my stylist is either late or disappears part way through the appointment to deal with something else. While the haircuts are nice they're not good enough to put up with the time wasted waiting around. If you don't mind being there for hours they're a good salon -plenty of new magazines, cups of tea etc. If you're like me and have an incredibly busy life - I'd try somewhere else.

A very nice salon with friendly workers and good service. Although was rather pricy.
