1st April 2010 I took advantage of the special breakfast (nicely scrambled eggs on stunningly toasted focaccia and tender bacon rasher for $6)and a seriously good flat white at EspressoRepublic. Went back there for dinner and the manager was superb, everybody was made genuinely welcome, food delicious, best bread and dips I ever had, 2 course menu for $20 and special on the wine for $6. It is a long time since I and my wallet felt so well looked after in a restaurant. The owner, John, chatted most charmingly to us. Try it if you haven't already.
