12th June 2011 Spent the weekend in Greymouth only place to eat or drink would be Cafe 124. The moccas, never seen anything like it! Chocolate Whittaker bar in them...All the coffees were great, and the young man making them was delightful. We had a $10 breakfast oneday and had one of their seafood platters with wine for lunch the next day. What a treat! Great food, great presentation, and really friendly fun staff!
15th August 2012 im from chch and recently went to the west coast on leisure, i made a horrific mistake by walking into this absolute mess of a cafe. I can see they were trying, but when the owner obviously makes bad input/decisions, it makes the staff look even worse.
Example, i ordered 2x coffees, $5 takeaway soup, breakfast meal, and a salad,
Firstly, the price for just that was around $90, then i was told i cant eat my soup in the cafe, as its takeaway, and therefore i have to pay an extra $4 to eat it in the cafe, what the hell?? and then when our food came, i was expecting a large meal for that price, instead, it was cheap bacon, known as facon, slushy tomato, deep fried mushroom???? and the hash browns werent even cooked all the way thru. demanded our money back and left. very bad practice

16th November 2011 This place deserves less of a review than the closed fish and chips stores in south auckland.
Terrible service, terrible food. I recommend to everyone what i did and left my meal and went to robert harris cafe across the road. Hopefully this place will be closed down.
There was none of many items on the menu, black short haired girl was very unfriendly, and crude.
the presentation was like looking at my dogs ass, and the coffee is more like vinegar with milk.
if i could put minus star rating, i would give it at least a minus 10.
I go to greymouth every year for whitebait, and this year i made the mistake of dining here.
overall rating -10
