Locally owned and run cafe, Reality Bites, is a gem of an eatery and take-away, considering how swiftly things seem to run at this establishment. Morning caffeine flows rapidly 7 days a week as early commuters (who have already texted their orders in before arriving at 245A Sawyers Arms Rd) arrive to pick up their coffees, and the midday swirl of customers centres around the delicious food prepared daily on site. There is something for everyone, especially if you've got time to sit languidly in the window and look out onto the suburb, or admire the artwork in the cafe which is also for sale. Beware, however, if you have a sweet tooth and a weakness for anything chocolate, as the chocolate brownies will test the strength of even the most steadfast willpower. The cheesecake, too, is a must. If you’re a hardened breakfast fanatic, you will definitely enjoy the bacon and egg bagel – toasted, of course – which will have you begging for the secret recipe of the topping. All round, Reality Bites is a winner, where you will be served with a smile and find that the coffee is awesome and the food and snacks are real value for money. Miss it, and you miss out!
